The Implementation Manager role, VP, in Cash Management calls for an energetic and committed professional with the
experience to execute complex Cash Management Product implementations across different geographies with large
Sound technical skill, including a detailed knowledge of Payments and hands-on experience of working in Cash
Management business. The ideal candidate will be a VP level specialist within a European bank associated with Cash
The Cash Management Manager will be responsible for the execution and general coordination in the Implementation
Process of Cash Management mandates for Multinational clients of Santander within Continental Europe and with
subsidiaries of Multinational Clients of other regions active within CE.
The main tasks and responsibilities for the role will be:
- Client confirmed smooth and efficient implementation process of Cash Management Mandates.
- Actively contribute to the GTB team regarding market opportunities, joint origination efforts a cross products (Supply
Chain Finance), etc.
- Raise the general awareness of regional and top management regarding the latest developments on the cash
management capabilities for CE.
- It should be noted that there is an important element of Group interaction attached to the role of the Implementation
Manager, requiring the ability to develop strong working relationships with management and colleagues throughout the
Group in various countries.

Requisitos mínimos 1. The successful candidate is very likely to hold qualifications in banking, finance, or economics.
2. A sound understanding of Payment Systems (SEPA; EBA) and SWIFT Methodology related to payments.
3. Experience in use of Different Pooling Structures: Zero Balancing, Cinderella Sweep, Notional Pooling, etc.
4. Substantial (5 or more years') experience with Implementation of Cash Management processes. Ideally, this experience
will have been gained with a first class international bank extending Cash Management solutions to the EU region or
possibly from third party providers for Cash Management System Solutions.Experience of commercial situations involving
Cash Management, Liquidity Management, etc.:
5. A sound understanding of Payment Systems (SEPA; EBA) and SWIFT Methodology related to payments.
6. Experience in use of Different Pooling Structures: Zero Balancing, Cinderella Sweep, Notional Pooling, etc.
7. Experience of working with global operating Corporates and specific Payment requirements in wider EU.
8. A sound grasp of EU law in relation to payments, Account structures, Pooling structures.
9. A strong understanding of commercial and financial documentation.
10. Strong links and contacts with banks, legal practices, Cash Management System Providers, etc.
11. Experience of interacting with clients and colleagues at senior management level in an international banking business
12. High knowledge of Office package.
13. Expert level of English. High level of Spanish is highly valued. Any other language would be a plus.
