IT Asset & Obsolescence Manager

Inside the T&O Division, the IT Asset and Obsolescence Manager will be responsible for defining and promoting corporate
policies that establish the principles of technological asset management to be implemented in Santander Group. The
elected candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Corporate IT asset regulations and the
adaptation of local IT regulations in each of the geographies, which guarantee the existence and implementation of the
appropriate IT Asset management procedures for proper compliance, both internal and external.
Specific goals are:
- Enforcing the implementation of the It Asset and Obsolescence Management regulation across all entities of the Group
- Ensuring the maintenance of the quality and the completeness of the corporate repositories, Orbis for SW and CMDB for
Infrastructure
- Ensuring all entities are defining plans and actions to mitigate and avoid obsolescence
- Report to the Global IT management the status of the IT Assets across the Group
- Report the obsolescence status and other relevant aspects of the IT Asset Management process to corporate Risk and
Audit
- Be the central point of contact for IT Asset Management for regulators and external auditors
- Enforce the reporting of the relevant IT Asset Management KPI´s in the corporate tools and Dashboards: Heracles, IT

- Chair the Obsolescence Forum and other working Groups needed to manage the IT Assets and Obsolescence
The elected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Lead IT Asset Management program
- Lead and promote IT Asset Management Policy
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of Corporate IT Asset regulations and adaptation of local IT regulations
- Lead the Global Obsolescence Program coordinating with the Risk areas (1LoD, 2LoD), Audit, Regulator, Service
Centers
- Supervise and verify the existence of initiatives for the obsolescence mitigation that meet corporate expectations,
according to the defined criteria
- Report the corresponding KPIs to the executive management
- Automate and optimize management and reporting processes through the creation of dashboards
- Verify the evolution and integration needs of the technological asset inventory tools in the Group

Requisitos

Experiencia Laboral Al menos 5 años
Estudios mínimos Formación Profesional Grado Superior
Requisitos mínimos We are looking for candidates who meet the next requirements:
1. Information Technology Degree. A higher program in Technological Management and/or Digitalization related will be
strongly valued.
2. 3 - 5 years of experience on IT Asset management and 7 - 10 years of international experience on management of
technological projects
3. Deep Knowledge on mainframe/middleware systems and Project Management Skills
4. High skills on dashboard/reporting tools (PowerBI, Excel)
5. High skills as Product owner for defining business requirements (DDRs)
6. High level of English
